IF this is what you heard in your ear then it shouldn't matter what I think. However I will say this, I enjoyed the beginning but then the piece came to a point where I didn't know where you wanted to go with it.

Just realized that this works great as a loop! Get rid of the voice.

Synthrax responds:

Thanks man!!! I know it's a little rough but I'm fixing it up!! Haha. And it sounds good to me but I want to make music that not only I like but others like. I enjoy bringing out the emotions through my music. :)

This is some really good stuff, and it really moves. Love the adding of layers starting at 2:15

Anchorwind responds:

I'm glad someone who measures sounds enjoys my work, for I am largely the opposite of scientific save my pattern-based, even-beat styling. That mechanical predictability has much significance, life experiences as well as a dedication to breviloquence, and needs not be elaborated upon here. Aside from the mechanical structure, I feel the story that needs to be told and then build the sounds that echo the emotional resonance. No measurements, no hard data, just intuition, emotion, and a comedy of errors.

Would definitely like to hear more. At 55 seconds in, it reminds me of some older Radiohead...very chill.

ComposerDylan responds:

I love Radiohead! thanks for listening and commenting, really appreciated it.

This doesn't deserve the low rating. Very Effective piece.

ComposerDylan responds:

Thank you very much, I tried to get it to have several moods and dynamic build, I was a little bummed at the super low ratings. thank you for listening, appreciating and commenting!

Very nice atmosphere. Could have used a better resolution, but I don't care. Couldn't help but smile at times. Looks like you could use more fans.

Synthrax responds:

Thank you!! Your opinion made me happy! haha! And yes i definitly could use more fans. If you know anyone else whod enjoy my music too refer me! Also anything you think out of all my tracks i could improve on? Thanks again!

I thought this was quite enjoyable and lighthearted. How to improve on your music? Like anything else really--keep writing. I've composed a lot of bad stuff before anything decent came out of it.

SolarFloss responds:

Thanks. I'll definitely keep making music. :D

Are you kidding me?! Love this sound!

ZLEAP responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed.

Its no Psalm 32. But it works.

As I listened to your other tracks, this piece is idiosyncratic to your style, and the voice is a nice touch. However, the meat of this piece is the B-flat minor and melodic contour to the F. It's catchy, and I would like to hear you explore more of this in varying the melody and chord progression in your future tracks.
It has a good rhythmic energy and as a whole I think it maintains it's integrity in being a Trance piece
How much time did you end up spending on this?

prodrift101 responds:

Thank you so much for your review. I worked on this song over the course of three days spending roughly 5-6 hours each session creating original melodies, automations, and mixing.

Good to hear a fellow pianist—it’s a nice contrast to hear your playing amidst the Techno and electronic submissions on the Audio Portal. My guess would be that you're an easy going person based on the tone that you get out of the piano.

Musicious responds:

Thanks a lot! Techno and electronic are very nice, but I concentrate on classic music :)
